• At approximately 3:30 pm, on October 9th, 2023, I spoke with Angel Contreras, the Joliet Township Supervisor, about a news story regarding The Peter Claver Center. He stated that,” The Peter Claver Center will NOT be used as a Welcome Center for asylum seekers. It is only going to be used as a Peace and Anti Violence Center.”

• Janet Diaz has never been in support of PT Ferro quarry blasting at the former Bromberek Flagstone site, near the intersection of Richard Street and Sandall Place in Joliet, Illinois. The proposed quarry blasting is near 3 schools, the Will County Health Department and Sunny Hill Nursing Home. Janet feels that the quarry blasting is and will be a safety issue, a water issue and a standard of life issue. PT Ferro purchased the former Bromberek Flagstone site in July of 2023.
